2020 AJA Vineyards Malibu Coast Cabernet Sauvignon

Our 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon is absolutely delightful. This vintage, we were able to harness all of the color from the fruit and the complexity. This vintage is darker and more robust than 2019 because of the warmer temperature of the vintage. Succulent luxardo cherries and blackberries envelope the palate. Hints of tobacco, licorice and bark also come forward. It is a lovely full bodied wine with supple tannins. We utilize special Medóc barrels to bring forward the deep rich flavors of bordeaux in this vintage leaving your mouth watering for more.

Proprietor Recommendations:

There are two main reasons to decant a bottle of wine

1) Expose it to oxygen and open the wine up, particularly this is helpful with very young wines or wines aged 10-15 years.

2) Remove the wine off of the sediment which is particular to older bottles

We recommend when you open this wine to decant it for 20 minutes prior to consumption.
