2023 AJA Vineyards Wildflower Rosé Paso Robles
Our third vintage with this delicious Briarwood Vineyard rosé is made of Grenache Gris! Only two acres planted to this beautiful Rhone grape variety that grows extremely well in the Paso Robles area. Notes of peach, lychee, watermelon, strawberry and raspberry. This particular vineyard is within a cooler microclimate which brings about a twist from the typical warm Paso wines. The brightness and the salinity pair so well to make this a mouth watering rosé perfect for poolside, charcuterie, or even with a mouthwatering sausage.
This wine is 98% Grenache Gris and 2% Pinot Noir. A coastal rosé you must get your hands on.
Wildflowers are often used as cover crops in vineyards. Though they're not the vines themselves, they play a massive role in the production of the fruit and they support healthy growth. My mom is my Wildflower and this wine is named after her. -Amanda Greenbaum, Proprietor
